Build Forever. Legacy Starts Now.

As Nevada County Habitat for Humanity marks three decades of transforming lives through affordable housing this new year, we are unveiling a vibrant new logo ahead of our Legacy Builders Circle – a meaningful way for community members to ensure that every family in Nevada County has access to a decent place to live for generations to come.

Since our founding, we at Nevada County Habitat for Humanity have been more than a homebuilder – we are a community builder, bringing together volunteers, donors, and families to create stable foundations for success.

Now, as the organization looks toward the future, we invite forward-thinking individuals to join a special circle of supporters whose planned gifts will secure affordable housing opportunities for decades ahead.

Who We Are & What We Need:

  • Mission-Driven Community Builders – For 30 years, we’ve empowered Nevada County families to achieve self-reliant homeownership, building not just houses but thriving neighborhoods and stronger communities.
  • Your Legacy, Their Future – Through planned gifts (bequests, retirement plans, life insurance, beneficiary designations), you can purchase land, fund infrastructure, and build entire neighborhoods – creating housing stability that outlasts us all.
  • Exclusive Member Benefits – Legacy Builders Circle members receive special event invitations, home/land previews, lifetime ReStore discounts, recognition options, and the satisfaction of making a long-term capacity impact.

“Our Legacy Builders Circle members come from all walks of life, and yet we share one goal – to bring people together to build homes and strengthen our community,” says Associate Director Tai Batov. “A planned gift is one of the most flexible and powerful ways to support our cause. It costs nothing today but creates housing opportunities forever.”
