It’s common knowledge that part of the Habitat partnership with new homeowners requires a minimum of 500 “sweat equity” hours. Our local hardworking folks can be seen all over town; at the construction site building on their home, volunteering in the ReStore, and helping staff at the local Habitat affiliate in Grass Valley.
Two families joined us in May to help prepare our Spring Appeal. Our offices were buzzing with chatter and laughter and we truly realize the privilege of our partnership. We are very grateful for our partner families for helping us with a very important mission – raising funds to continue to build homes for future homeowners!
Thanks to the generosity of our community, we are already 52% of the way toward our Spring Appeal fundraising goal. Every donation helps move more local families closer to safe, stable, affordable homeownership.
