Welcome Jason Miles, Our New Development Director | Nevada County Habitat for Humanity

This month, we said goodbye to Jennifer Cordova and we’re excited to welcome Jason Miles into the role. Jason was born and raised in Yuba City and lives there with his wife and youngest daughter. His older children are on their way in life, one as a math teacher in Seattle and the other as a law school student at UC Davis.

Jason started his career at World Vision, where he served in various roles, including Executive Director of Development for the San Francisco Bay area region. He has also served as Vice President of Advancement at Northwest University, his alma mater. He holds a graduate degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in International Non-Profit Management and undergraduate degrees in biblical studies and Organizational Management.

Outside of his professional life, Jason has dedicated a significant portion of his time to community service. He is a volunteer leader for a ministry in Zambia, which he co-founded. He is also passionate about addiction and recovery programs and serves as the development committee chair for the Yuba City Teen Challenge program.

“I’ve always admired the founding story of Habitat, the mission, and community impact. Now I’m thrilled to be part of the team!”
