Shelly has been part of the Habitat team and a ReStore employee for 12 years! Thank you for all of your hard work making the ReStore a great place to shop, work, and volunteer!

Get to know Shelly Palmer, ReStore’s Team Lead Associate:

Q: Tell me a little about yourself! Interests, Hobbies? I love being out in nature. You may find me hiking, kayaking, swimming, or downhill skiing. I also enjoy singing and dancing, sewing, arts and crafts.

Q: What is the most important thing to you?

My faith and my loved ones.

Q: Where are you from originally?

So Cal. However, I have lived in this area over 30 years.

Q: What do you like about working at the ReStore?

It’s really great to work for such an amazing organization that is all about finding decent housing for our local neighbors. I also enjoy seeing the inventory come in-it feels like Christmas every day, since we never know what we might find here!

Q: What ideas do you have that could make us better?

I have many ideas. But making items more visible through better merchandising and organization is key.

Q: Where is your dream vacation? The Caribbean.

Q: What is your favorite ReStore Department?

Furniture, since I have a background in furniture sales, repair, and refinishing. I have a passion for good craftsmanship and beautiful antiques.
